Join Huron Pines, the Huron Coastal Invasive Species Network and the Presque Isle Conservation District to learn how to identify and manage common invasive shrubs on your property.

Attendees will meet at the Presque Isle Conservation District building for a classroom-style presentation covering invasive shrub identification and management techniques. From there, the group will travel to the Herman Vogler Conservation Area to see these techniques in action through hands-on management demonstrations.

This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about managing invasive shrubs, whether you’re a landowner looking for practical tips or simply interested in caring for the natural areas around you.

Please dress for the weather. The outdoor portion will include a walk of less than ½ mile on a paved, well-maintained trail.
