Join Oscoda Township to celebrate the protection of their new AuSable River Scenic Preserve on Tuesday, April 14th from 4pm-5:30pm. This 42-acre greenspace features 3,300 feet of AuSable River frontage near Lake Huron and has been permanently protected for the community to enjoy.

The celebration will include a short program, tours of the property and an opportunity to explore this beautiful new preserve at your own pace. Light refreshments will be provided. 

This event is family friendly and will proceed rain or shine. April weather can be unpredictable, so dress for the outdoors and come prepared for the weather. Walking surfaces are uneven and may be wet, with some uphill terrain. Sturdy, waterproof footwear is recommended.
