Watershed Overview: Pigeon
Pigeon River Watershed
The Pigeon River originates in Northern Otsego County, just a few miles northeast of Gaylord. The river then flows in a northerly direction, through the Pigeon River Country State Forest, to its mouth at Mullet Lake, a distance of 42 miles. The Pigeon River system drains a surface area of approximately 170 square miles and includes 80 linear miles of stream. The Pigeon River is a designated "Natural River".
