Huron Pines Conservation Programs
Huron Pines completes an average of 50 conservation projects in Northeast Michigan each year, ranging from erosion control to invasive species removal to volunteer events. These projects are associated with our overall program areas—look for the program logos on each page to get a quick overview of what each project covers.
We focus on plants that are invading wetlands, forests and shorelines throughout our service area.
Huron Pines takes an ecosystem-wide approach and works with private landowners and public land managers to promote healthy wildlife habitat.
Huron Pines has a variety of projects that improve water quality and enhance aquatic habitat in Northeast Michigan.
