Invasive or non-indigenous species, such as phragmites (Phragmites australis) below, adversely affect the habitats they invade. They displace native species, disrupt ecosystems and damage commercial and natural resources. Learn more about this issue by attending our upcoming Annual Meeting. Our speakers include resource professionals who have responded to the problem of invasive species in their communities. In addition, we will be presenting the Huron Pines Award as well as the O.B. Eustis Environmental Awards.
